IMPORTANT: Before charging make sure the USB-C port is dry and clean.
When you receive the device, the first action is to charge the internal battery fully. Begin by connecting the USB-C cable to the device and plugging the other end into a high-quality certified USB socket of max 5W (5V, 1A).
Your Sensor should now be charging; a continuous Red LED on the device will confirm this. You can see the different LED meanings here.
Safety Information:
- After every session make sure the USB-C port is completely dry and clean before attempt charging.
- Do not use fast-charging adaptors or high-wattage USB hubs. Use a power supply that outputs 5 Volts at a maximum current of 1A, with a power limit of 5W.
- Use the FLOWBIO USB-C provided cable and ensure no debris or residue interferes with the connection.
- If you notice unusual heat, a blinking red LED, smoke, or visible damage while charging, safely unplug the sensor and immediately contact us at team@flowbio.com
- Do not leave the device unattended while plugged in, avoid charging for longer than needed and unplug once fully charged.
